Can I complete a background check without providing my SSN?

A social security number is not required for our Level 1 or Level 2 screens. A social security number is required for our Level 3 screen because the SSN is used to pull seven years of address history associated with the individual. An in depth criminal search is conducted in each one of those jurisdictions.

If an SSN is not required, you will see a check box labeled "No SSN" underneath the 'Your Social Security Number' box on Step 1. Check this box so you can continue in your screening process.

If you do not see this check box, it means that your SSN is required. You won't be able to continue in submitting your background check form without entering a Social Security Number. Simply contact your organization to have them change the screening package assigned to you.
